COMPATIBILITY

 

Zinc Phosphate is compatible with a wide variety of media including alkyds epoxy esters, chlorinated rubber, polyurethane etc

 

•CORROSION RESISTANCE

 

The Pigment also physically prevents passage of water and salts. Thus the corrosion resistance is a major characteristic of Zinc Phosphate.

 

Good brushing characteristics can be obtained with Zinc Phosphate Primers, which are suitable for both airless and conventional spray application. None of these methods entails a health hazard.

 

•NON-TOXIC

 

Zinc Phosphate has the advantage of non toxic nature over other Corrosion Resistant Pigments much as Zinc Chromate, Zinc Tetroxy Chromate and Barium Chromate.

 

EXCELLENT INTER-COAT ADHESION

 

The use of Zinc Phosphate in Primers promotes excellent inter-coat adhesion, particularly under conditions of high humidity.

 

 

Application of zinc phosphate

 

Zinc epoxy phosphate primer, also known as zinc epoxy phosphate anti-rust paint and zinc epoxy phosphate anti-corrosion paint, is a two-component coating, including main paint and curing agent, used for anti-rust coating of steel structure and mechanical equipment.Epoxy zinc phosphate primer has good adhesion, excellent compatibility, and strong mechanical properties.The coating contains high quality zinc phosphate antirust pigment, and has strong ability to resist rust and corrosion of steel. It can be matched with polyurethane paint, epoxy paint, fluorocarbon paint and acrylic paint.

, zinc phosphate is itself a hydrate has the ability of forming alkali type complex, its form attached with the metal surface and Fe2 + strong complex Fe [Zn3 (PO4) 3] precipitation layer and inhibition of anode reaction, at the same time with the hydroxyl and carboxyl ligand in the paint, production stable cross-linking coordination compound, the pigment - forming chemical bond between coating and substrate, thereby enhancing film adhesion and resistance to permeability.
