1. Property:
Zinc phosphate is an environmentally friendly and pollution-free white powder that is insoluble or slightly soluble in water. Its molecular formula is expressed as: Zn3 (PO4) 2. nH2O, n=0, 2, 4, is composed of phosphate ions and zinc ions, the apparent density is 0.3-0.8g/cm3, the oil absorption is 40ml/g, and the conductivity is ≤300. PH value 5-7. Melting point: 900°C.
2. Usage:
Zinc phosphate contains crystal water, which is slowly hydrolyzed in the solution system to release phosphate ions and zinc ions. The phosphate ions combine with iron, aluminum, zinc and other oxides on the metal surface to form a dense and solid complex film. Attaching to the metal surface can block the contact of harmful substances such as air, water, ammonia, carbon dioxide and the metal surface, thereby preventing the corrosion of the metal surface and protecting the metal.
The melting point of zinc phosphate is 900℃. It can reduce the melting point of glass when it participates in the glass material. It is a good raw material for special low-temperature glass. It is used to make lead-free low-melting glass sealing materials, laser glass, electronic glass, and long afterglow. Luminescent material.
Zinc phosphate coated with aluminum hydroxide or magnesium hydroxide is a good composite flame retardant, which is used in high molecular polymer flame retardant materials.
